职位描述


上海中医(yi)药大学是中国领先的中医(yi)药高等(deng)教(jiao)育(yu)和(he)研(yan)究机构之一。学校设有(you)14个(ge)学院和(he)9所(suo)附属医(yi)院。

活(huo)性小分(fen)子生物合成(cheng)(cheng)与中医(yi)药研究(jiu)中心”是(shi)一个新成(cheng)(cheng)立的国(guo)际化(hua)研究(jiu)中心,专注(zhu)于具有潜在生物活(huo)性的天(tian)然产物全合成(cheng)(cheng)以及其在药物中的应(ying)用(yong)。

申请者(zhe)将(jiang)参与萜类、生(sheng)(sheng)物(wu)碱(jian)类或肽类天(tian)(tian)然(ran)产(chan)物(wu)的(de)(de)全合成工作,或从事旨在促进(jin)这类天(tian)(tian)然(ran)产(chan)物(wu)合成的(de)(de)新(xin)方(fang)法学开发。研(yan)(yan)究项目(mu)主(zhu)要聚焦于具有显著生(sheng)(sheng)物(wu)活性的(de)(de)天(tian)(tian)然(ran)产(chan)物(wu),及(ji)其药用(yong)潜力(如类似物(wu)设(she)计、结构–活性关系研(yan)(yan)究、临床前研(yan)(yan)究)及(ji)相关的(de)(de)生(sheng)(sheng)物(wu)学研(yan)(yan)究(如化学蛋白质组学、靶点(dian)验(yan)证等)。

学生将参与萜类(lei)、生物碱类(lei)或肽类(lei)等具有显著(zhu)生物活性的天然产(chan)物的全合成研究。

活性(xing)(xing)小分子生物合(he)(he)成(cheng)与(yu)中(zhong)(zhong)医药研(yan)究中(zhong)(zhong)心”是(shi)一个中(zhong)(zhong)德合(he)(he)作项目(mu),特别注重(zhong)海外研(yan)究人员(yuan)和教师的(de)融合(he)(he)。研(yan)究中(zhong)(zhong)心于2025年在塔尼亚(ya)-盖奇教授和法比(bi)安-施耐德教授的(de)领(ling)导(dao)下(xia)成(cheng)立,现有总共6位成(cheng)员(yuan)。研(yan)究中(zhong)(zhong)心总面积接近1700平方米,资金充足,配备了全(quan)新的(de)、现代化(hua)的(de)合(he)(he)成(cheng)与(yu)生物学实验室。其综合(he)(he)分析(xi)设施包括(kuo)600 MHz和400 MHz NMR谱(pu)仪(配备冷探(tan)头)、高分辨率质(zhi)谱(pu)(HRMS)、液相色(se)谱(pu)质(zhi)谱(pu)(LCMS)、手性(xing)(xing)HPLC、分析(xi)性(xing)(xing)与(yu)制备性(xing)(xing)HPLC,以及自动化(hua)中(zhong)(zhong)压色(se)谱(pu)系(xi)统等(deng)。 

我(wo)们计(ji)划招募多名(ming)博(bo)(bo)士(shi)(shi)研究生(4-5名(ming)),博(bo)(bo)士(shi)(shi)后研究人员(4-5名(ming))。对于特(te)别优(you)秀的(de)博(bo)(bo)士(shi)(shi)及博(bo)(bo)士(shi)(shi)后将有(you)机会前(qian)往德国知名(ming)高校交流、深造。

导师介绍


法比安-施耐德 教授
Fabian Schneider 于2021年在(zai)(zai)康(kang)斯(si)坦茨大(da)(da)学(xue)获(huo)得有机(ji)合成博(bo)士学(xue)位。之后,他在(zai)(zai)Scripps研究(jiu)(jiu)所(suo)与(yu)Phil Baran教授合作进(jin)行博(bo)士后研究(jiu)(jiu),并于2025年开(kai)始加入上海中医药大(da)(da)学(xue)“活(huo)性小分子生(sheng)物(wu)合成(cheng)与(yu)中(zhong)(zhong)医(yi)药(yao)研(yan)究(jiu)(jiu)中(zhong)(zhong)心”开展(zhan)独立研(yan)究(jiu)(jiu)工作,专注于萜(tie)类、生(sheng)物(wu)碱(jian)和肽类天然产物(wu)的(de)全合成(cheng)研(yan)究(jiu)(jiu)。他(ta)获得了包括天然产物(wu)化学(xue)研(yan)究(jiu)(jiu)的(de)DECHEMA奖(jiang)(jiang)以及由亚历(li)山大·冯(feng)·洪(hong)堡(bao)基金会资助的(de)Feodor-Lynen奖(jiang)(jiang)学(xue)金等多个奖(jiang)(jiang)项。目前为(wei)止在Science、Nature、JACS,等国际著(zhu)名期(qi)刊 上(shang)发表论文多(duo)篇。

Position offered: PhD and Postdoctoral Recruitment – Research Center for Bioactive Small Molecule Synthesis and Chinese Medicine, Shanghai University of Chinese Medicine

Description: 

The Center for (bio)-synthesis of active small molecules in Chinese Medicine’ is a recently established research center focused on organic synthesis with a special focus on the total synthesis of natural products and exploration of their potential for medicinal applications.

Students will work on the total synthesis of terpene, alkaloid or peptide based natural products or methodology projects specifically aimed at facilitating synthetic access to these classes of natural products. Projects are specifically targeting natural products with potent biological application, aiming to subsequently enable further exploration of their medicinal potential (e.g. analogue generation, structure activity relationship, further preclinical studies) or biological investigation (e.g. chemoproteomics studies, target validation) in cooperation with partners of the research center.

The ‘Center for (bio)-synthesis of active small molecules in Chinese Medicine’ is a Chinese-German cooperation with a special emphasis on the integration of overseas researchers and faculty. Founded in 2025 under the tutelage of Prof. Fabian Schneider. The research center includes currently 6 faculty members with a highly successful record track in the field of organic synthesis. The research center spans nearly 1,700 square meters, is well-funded, and boasts brand-new, fully equipped state-of-the-art synthetic and biological laboratories. Its comprehensive analytical infrastructure includes 600 MHz and 400 MHz NMR spectrometers with cryoprobes, HRMS, LCMS, chiral HPLC, analytical and preparative HPLC, as well as automated medium-pressure chromatography systems.

The research center is located at the Shanghai University of Chinese Medicine which enables access to it’s 9 affiliated hospitals. In addition to it’s university labs, the research center is also present at the Longhua hospital which enables access to advanced biological research facilities and enables translational medicine studies.

We plan to recruit multiple PhD students (4–5) and postdoctoral researchers (4–5). Outstanding candidates will have the opportunity to conduct collaborative research or pursue further training at leading universities in Germany.

Prof. Fabian Schneider (ORCID 0000-0001-6651-1127)

Fabian Schneider graduated with a PhD in organic synthesis from the University of Konstanz in 2021. After postdoctoral studies with Prof. Phil Baran at Scripps research in La Jolla, CA, USA he started his independent career 2025 at the Center for (bio)-synthesis of active small molecules in Chinese Medicine where he is currently holding a position as chair professor, focused on research in the total synthesis of terpene and peptide natural products. He received among others the DECHEMA Award for research in natural products chemistry and support by a Feodor-Lynen Fellowship by the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation. To date, he has published multiple papers in internationally renowned journals such as Science, Nature, and JACS.
